A Fun Merry Christmas

Hi ya everyone!  This is a just for fun post.  I've seen a number of people using white embossing powder for their outline on fun images.  The look is beautiful and always leaves me saying wow!  I decided to give it a try with Distress Ink water coloring.  I used the adorable stamp set from Simon Says Stamp called Christmas Characters.  They were embossed with Versamark ink and Hero Arts white embossing powder on Ranger watercolor paper.  I then used a number of Distress Inks to watercolor the image.  After, I embossed the Simon Says Stamp Be Joyful sentiment and the candy cane stripes at the bottom of the card is Hero Arts Silver embossing powder.  I finished with my Wink of Stella clear brush and then added some glossy accents to the nose of Rudolf, Santa's boots and belt and the carrot nose on the snowman.

Gratitude at Tiddly Inks with a Shaker Card

Hi ya everyone!  I made a shaker card since they are all the rage!  This is a design team make for the current challenge at Tiddly Inks:  Gratitude and Joyfulness!  Make sure to head over and check out the creations and the FREEBIE!!!

I used the adorable image Thanks Fairy Much and colored her using Distress inks.  I used the Ranger watercolor paper and Stazon jet black ink for the image.  This paper is great for adding lots of water so it doesn't warp.  There is also a textured side like normal watercolor paper and a smooth side which is great for stamping!

A Sweet Christmas Card

Hi ya everyone!  Today, I'm sharing a Tiddly Inks creation for the Fabulous Friday post!  I'm so excited about winter and especially, Christmas.  There is nothing better than getting together with family and friends and celebrating the season.

I used the clear stamp set, Winter Wishes.  I colored them up in my Copic Markers on Make It Crafty coloring cardstock.  I added a bit of Zing emboss around the edges.  Last, I added my Wink of Stella clear brush to the snowy areas!  The paper is Lawn Fawn.  Make sure to pop over to the Tiddly Inks blog and check out all the adorable creations for lots of fabulous inspiration!

Back to Blogging

Hey all!  It's been awhile since I've been in the crafty game.  I've been working on a little something different.  Here's a quick peak...
Our baby boy was born on October 14th.  The whole pregnancy was a bit hard, but he's here and we are beyond happy!

Now that he's here, I've missed crafting so much and am back in the game.  To make life easier I decided to join the Simon Says Stamp Card Kit Club.  I love it!  Everything I need is right there and I can make simple cards quickly.  I've also found a few other products I love.  Embossing powders from Hero Arts!  I love the silver and gold..wow, serious shine and metallic color.  Here is a quick card I made using the November Card kit.

It's a bit hard to see in this picture, but check it out below.
I hope you are ready for me to be back in the swing of blogging!!!  See you soon.

Hi ya everyone!  Today, I have something a little different to share.  I recently joined a group of friends that create ATC cards and swap to each other!  I have had so much fun creating little ATC's and seeing what others create too!  This was a one on one swap I did with a friend who is a dog lover!  So what better image to use than Tiddly Inks Dog Days.  I colored him in Copics and used Echo Parks Everyday Eclectic paper.

Walking on Sunshine

Hi ya everyone!  Today, I get to share my first creation as a design team member at Make it Crafty.  The Make it Colourful Challenge is really two parts.  You can choose to do one or both.  The easy challenge is use blue and yellow.  The difficult challenge is to make sun rays or color water.  I chose to make sun rays and use blue and yellow for my creation.  The images from Make it Crafty are called Annie and Shady Spot Background Digi.
You can easily layer digital images at Make It Crafty using the png files you get when purchasing an image.  I typically use PowerPoint to merge and size my digis.  Make sure to join our challenges and check out the store blog for lots of tips, techniques and tutorials from the Design Team!

A Wild Birthday

Hi ya everyone!  Today, I'm sharing a Tiddly Inks card with you using Hello My Pet Clear stamp set.  I love these stamp sets because the girls are a bit larger than most stamps.  This makes it easier to color and for those that like a clean and simple creation it's easier to fill most of the card with image.  The sentiment is also from the set.  I colored this cutie in Copics and used Echo Parks Eclectic Everyday.
We actually have two challenges currently happening at Tiddly Inks.  A Clean and Simple is the challenge on the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog and on our NEW Facebook group challenge a Make it Colorful!  If you aren't part of our Facebook group just ask for an invite.  Make sure to join us for the fun.

Floating by to say hi!

Hi ya everyone!  I'm back with a new creation using an adorable Tiddly Inks image called Floating By Clear Stamp set.  I did something a little different and used some cold press water color paper and painted some water colors from Koi to create a watery scene.  I then colored up this adorable image in Copics and popped her off the back of my card.  The sentiments are included in this set.  I added a touch of stardust stickles.

The challenge at Tiddly Inks this week is Clean and Simple!  So hard for me!!  Check out the other team members and enter for your chance to win a digital gift certificate or be featured on Fabulous Inky Friday!
